Home - Omega - Dream of White Horses
This piece is an extension of my work form the golden age of
sea travel POSH, which interprets the graphic image associated with the vintage
shipping posters and is realised in 3-D.
In Dream of White Horses, focus is given to the proportions of
the bow section, which is the dominant feature of those graphic images. The
work is stripped back to bare the essentials of sheet aluminium and laminated
ply timber. Standing at 3m the scale reflects the proportions and the perspectives
of the graphic image
